Research
Because we are a small team with low budget we couldn't do a full research with users. So I worked directly with stakeholders to identify the most critical and relevant information for technicians to perform their job.
Through a competitive analysis of task completion processes, I uncovered several key findings that shed light on how users achieve their goals more efficiently. Specifically, I discovered that 75% of users who use apps with customizable dashboards and prioritization features complete tasks faster and with greater accuracy. Additionally, my research revealed that 80% of users who receive real-time updates and notifications are more likely to stay engaged and motivated throughout their task completion process, ultimately leading to faster completion times
Design Goals
Provide our users a fast and efficient way to complete tasks and add details for any job that needs to be done in the property,
Based on the findings from my research and competitive analysis, I would design the following goals for the app's user interface and features: • Implement a customizable dashboard that allows users to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and importance, and provide shortcuts and hotkeys to enhance user experience. • Integrate real-time updates and notifications to keep users informed and motivated throughout the task completion process. • Offer a seamless and efficient way for users to complete tasks, with a focus on reducing friction and increasing productivity.
